FROM THE CHAIRMAN’S DESK:

Ever since the inception of GRS Group of institutions, the primary focus has always been student learning. All the students must be prepared to be successful in the 21st century careers- many of which do not even exist yet. Students must know how to think, to solve problems, to innovate and collaborate there is yet no single pathway leading to that end, but whatever paths our students choose must be stepped into with effort, dedication, commitment and reverence. In all their courses, students must be challenged to step out of their comfort zone and encouraged to think critically and creatively.
Our philosophy of education has always been meeting the needs of individual child. Children acquire skills and knowledge easily if we can make the surrounding interesting and purposeful. In the 21st century, the digital revolution affects us all. It is quietly changing everything. In such surrounding, when work and efforts are valued, the child’s self-esteem is heightened, and this results in self-motivation. We try to understand and work with each child, and firmly believe that it is our responsibility to enable the child in our care to develop as a whole.

FROM THE SECRETARY'S DESK

At NOPS, the educational community strives for excellence by preparing students for learning beyond their school years and assisting them to become lifelong learners, as well as helping them to be self-directed, realistic, and responsible decision makers when solving problems that they will encounter in our multicultural, ever- changing world. Ultimately, each learner will gain from their life at school according to the effort they apply. We strongly believe in the importance of teachers, parents, and administrators collaborating and communicating openly and frequently.
The curriculum emphasises the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for all students attending our school. We believe that every learner is unique and special and that they all have the ability to learn. We believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every learner to prepare them for life. Learners are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens, and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.

Mr. Yogesh G S
Secretary,
GRS Group of Institutions
FROM THE CEO'S DESK

I am thrilled to address you as the CEO of GRS Education Trust, a place where education transcends traditional boundaries, fostering an environment of holistic growth and innovation. At New Oxford Public School, we firmly believe in nurturing each child’s potential, preparing them not just for exams, but for life. It is this belief that drives our mission and informs every decision we make as an institution.
Our commitment to academic excellence remains steadfast. We are proud of the achievements of our students, from consistently high examination results to exceptional performances in STATE and national competitions. But beyond academics, we aim to develop critical thinkers and problem-solvers, individuals who are equipped to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
To this end, we are constantly upgrading our curriculum, incorporating the latest pedagogical strategies and technological advancements. Our STEM programs have expanded, offering students hands-on learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Similarly, our arts and humanities courses continue to provide a strong foundation in creative thinking, communication, and cultural awareness.

Mrs. Rashmi Shree
CEO,
GRS Group of Institutions
These past 5 years have been of resilience, adaptability, and growth. The challenges we faced as a community due to global events tested our perseverance, but they also allowed us to innovate. Our faculty rose to the occasion, ensuring that learning remained uninterrupted, whether through virtual classrooms, hybrid models, or enhanced in-person instruction. I am immensely proud of our teachers, staff, and students for their dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence in education despite the circumstances.
We’ve also focused on mental health and well-being. Recognizing the stress that both students and staff have been under, we have strengthened our counselling services and introduced wellness programs aimed at promoting mindfulness, resilience, and emotional balance. The well-being of our community is a priority, and we will continue to invest in initiatives that support a healthy, balanced approach to education.
Looking ahead, we are focused on creating more opportunities for collaboration and innovation. We believe in educating future leaders, and to do so, we must embrace the skills of tomorrow. Our recent partnerships with leading organizations in technology and education will provide students with real-world experiences, bridging the gap between classroom learning and the professional world.
We are also excited to announce the expansion of our extracurricular programs. We understand that learning happens outside of textbooks, and our wide array of sports, arts, music, and leadership programs aim to develop well-rounded individuals. Every child is unique, and we want to offer avenues for them to discover and pursue their passions.
None of this would be possible without the strong support of our community – parents, students, teachers, and staff. I am deeply grateful for the trust our parents place in us to educate and nurture our children. I encourage open communication and value every feedback as we strive to make our school the best it can be. As we continue this journey together, I am confident that with our shared vision, we will shape a brighter, more empowered future for our students.
